Delivery


Standard Delivery Information:

Orders received by 2:00 pm Mon-Fri will be dispatched immediately and normally received the next business day within the Republic of Ireland. Orders received after 2:00 pm will be dispatched the next working day.

We will e-mail you a tracking number and courier information for your parcel as soon as we dispatch from our warehouse.

Every care and attention is taken when packaging to ensure that your items arrive at your address in the same condition that they were dispatched.

Please ensure when providing the Shipping Address, that someone must be there to receive and sign for the delivery.

Our Couriers will make several attempts to deliver, however, re-shipping of undeliverable items will incur an additional charge. If you have opted for GLS Courier delivery, a Collection Note will be left at the address with instructions on how to arrange for re-delivery.

Please note that deliveries for certain items are arranged directly by the supplier of the product (Chokoflowers, Elephant Bags and certain other items). As these suppliers may use Registered Post services, you should note that only one delivery attempt may be made. In the event that this delivery attempt has been unsuccessful, the recipient may be required to collect the order from a local post or sorting centre.

Where an option for gift-wrapping or customizing has been selected, an additional charge will be detailed to you at the time of the transaction and billed along with your purchase at Checkout. Typical pricing for gift wrap option is + €3.50 per item.

Father's Day 2013:

Delivery Schedule and Deadlines:

Father's Day in Ireland and the UK is on the 16th June 2013.

If you would like to order a gift to be delivered before this date, you will need to place your order by:

Thursday, 13th June 2013 - no later than 14.00

Collections from Pressieport Offices:

If you have opted to collect from Pressieport, you may do so once your order has been placed with us and confirmed. When your order is ready to be collected, you will receive a mail advising you that the order status has changed to 'Awaiting Pickup'.

You may collect your order from :

Pressieport Office   (Near Parkwest, Dublin 12)  -  Mon-Thurs   -   9.00am to 5.00pm (except Bank Holidays and Public Holidays)

Please note that Friday opening times are 9.00am - 4.00pm

QParcel - Evening Deliveries for the Dublin Area ONLY:

  • QParcel Evening Deliveries - This new service has been introduced to add another level of convenience for our customers. If you select the QParcel option before 12.00pm on a given day, we will have it delivered either that evening or the following evening (depending on volumes) between the hours of 18.30 and 21.30 to an address in the Dublin area ONLY.

This service will prove of particular benefit to those people who are not at home during the normal day. Please note that this service operates on weekdays only (not weekends or on public holidays). For further information, on this service, please call us on  01 - 460 53 50


QParcel Evening Deliveries can be arranged for most items in the Dublin 1 to 24 areas. Orders requiring this service must be placed with us before 12pm on the day (Monday to Friday). This service applies weekdays/business days only.


Our QParcel Evening Deliveries cost €6.50 per address, and are delivered the following evening between the hours of 18.30 and 21.30.

All orders are subject to availability of stock. Customers must ensure that an authorised signatory is available to take receipt of the delivery. Failure to do this may result in additional costs to the customer for subsequent delivery attempts.

Same Day Deliveries:

Same Day Deliveries can be arranged for most items in the Dublin 1 to 24 areas. Orders requiring this service must be placed with us before 12pm on the day (Monday to Friday). This service applies weekdays/business days only.

Our Same Day Courier Deliveries cost €11 per address, and are delivered in the afternoon of the day of the order. All orders are subject to availability of stock. Customers must ensure that an authorised signatory is available to take receipt of the delivery. Failure to do this may result in additional costs to the customer for subsequent delivery attempts.

Delivery Rates in Ireland:

You can avail of two different services for delivery within the R.O.I.:
  • GLS Couriers (normally within 48 hours) is available at €4.95 FLAT RATE
  • You may also collect your order from our offices at no charge - please select 'Customer Collection' when going through Checkout.
  • Multiple items within the R.O.I will still only be charged the applicable Flat Rate to deliver per order provided the destination address remains the same.
  • Items to the value of €50 or over receive Free Delivery within the R.O.I (subject to change without notice)
    (this offer also applies to ordering multiple items, providing the destination address remains the same).
  • Buying gifts over several different transactions or deliveries to different locations will incur additional charges for each individual delivery.
  • Certain items may be subject to a different shipping rate other than our standard rates. Details are provided on the product description page and again at Checkout.
  • Delivery rates to Northern Ireland are outlined below.
  • Deliveries include V.A.T. where applicable and are calculated from the time payment is processed.
  • Couriers we use are GLS Couriers and Action Dispatch Couriers

Overseas & Worldwide Shipping:

  • Pressieport requires that all deliveries are signed for upon receipt.
  • We regret that we cannot accept deliveries to P.O. Boxes.
  • We deliver almost anywhere in the world by secure and well-known courier partners.
  • Delivery charges include the cost of postal packaging and courier handling charges.
  • We take no responsibility for any Taxes or Duties that may be payable by the recipient in the country of destination


General Weight Shipping & Delivery Guide:


Ireland – (Republic of Ireland)
 
  • Items up to 30 kg - €4.95  (GLS Couriers - signature required)

Northern Ireland
 
  • Items up to 30 kg - €7.50  (2-3 days or less)

Mainland UK (excluding Northern Ireland)
 
  • Items up to 5 Kg - €7.50  (3-5 days or less)
  • Items above 5 Kg will be quoted at time or subsequent to the time of transaction
European Destinations (E.U.)
  • Shipping costs will be detailed during the Checkout process. Should you require a re-quote, please contact us directly (this may be of benefit when ordering small or light items).

U.S. and Rest of World
 

  • Items up to 5 Kg - €50.00  (5-10 days or less)
  • Items above 5 Kg will be quoted at time or subsequent to the time of transaction
