Traditionally used in Chinese and Thai celebrations, these are a beautiful and fascinating way to light up the sky that’s becoming increasingly popular throughout the world for any kind of event.

Flying Lanterns are traditionally known as ‘Khom Fay’ or ‘Khom Loy’ in China and have been used for nearly two thousand years. It was believed that wishes written on lanterns would rise up to the heavens and come true.

The Sky Glow Flying Lantern is made from flame-retardant, bio-degradable materials and the frame is made from Bamboo – a wood that is quickly replenished.

A quieter, gentler alternative to fireworks, flying lanterns are the safe, simple and perfect way to create an amazing visual display in the sky!

One pack contains 10 Lanterns in plain off-white colour.

NOTE: These lanterns should only be used by adults and with care. The lanterns should be used in low to no wind conditions and in a safe outdoor environment such as a beach or similar. Follow instructions carefully.

I ordered yesterday afternoon and it was here first thing this morning. this is an amazing service - i wish you could bottle it and sell it to other companies!!!! :)
anyway, i have to wait just over a week to send up the lanterns, can i wait - time will tell, if not, i'll just order more.
i'll come back and tell you what i think of them.

I got these for New Year, as we were having a group of friends over. I didn't really know what to expect, and got a fair few quizzical looks from Himself! However, when we lit the lanterns, they were just so beautiful. They shoot silently up into the sky and hover there, as the flame burns. Truly lovely.

I got some of these for Christmas, more out of curiosity after seeing the YouTube clip here - they are brilliant - really spectacular! Just be careful and read the instructions.
