Like the rest of the country, we were glued to our TV's last night watching this year's Late Late Toy Show on RTE with Ryan Tubridy.

We were even more delighted to see our velcro ball game - the Butt Head Ball Game - appearing on it.

It's been one of the best sellers this Christmas and we're not really surprised. It's fun, it's not expensive and it'll keep the kids and adults busy on Christmas Day.

Anyway, we really enjoyed the show and as usual, I think the kids were more fun than the toys!

And it's that time of the year again when we have to let you all know what our arrangements are for the festive season!

You still have plenty of time but don't hang around for too long!

• If you are ordering gifts for delivery within Ireland, then you can shop until 2pm on Wednesday the 19th December.

• If you are shopping from abroad, whether it's the UK or Australia or the U.S., you can also shop until 2pm on Wednesday the 19th December as long as you are getting the order delivered to an Ireland address.

• If you are looking to order something for delivery to a DUBLIN address, you can shop with us until NOON on Thursday the 20th December. This only applies for deliveries to addresses in the DUBLIN 1 to 24 postal areas and you need to select SAME DAY DELIVERY at Checkout
  

Our offices will be closed from 1pm on Friday the 21st of December 2012 and we will re-open for normal business on Thursday, 3rd January 2013.

Any orders that have been placed between these times will only be processed on our return to the office in January.

Mother's Day is the 18th of March this year in Ireland - a little bit earlier than usual this year, but at least it gives you plenty of time to plan that extra special gift for the mum in your life who has done so much for you.

Also, this is the first time ever that I remember Mother's Day being the day after St. Patrick's Day! The handy thing for mum is that she'll be able to enjoy the weekend all the more since we'll have a Bank Holiday weekend.

We have a wide range of gifts, even more than last year and we hope that you'll find just what you're looking for.

Mother's Day, as we call it here in Ireland, is also known as Mothering Sunday and is traditionally the day that we set aside to honour our mum's and pamper them a little bit. Typically we try give our mums a break from the never ending work that they do for us or that they did while we were growing up and squatting free of charge at home. Most people treat their mams to a small gift, a bunch of flowers (tulips are the favourites) and even a card.

What mums tend to appreciate even more than the gifts we shower on them, is the chance to just take a break. For that reason, although we can't say its a tradition, it is a good idea to make the dinner for a change or even better still, bring mum out to lunch at one of her favourite restaurants.

We were again delighted to see some of the gifts we sent to the Toy Show team on RTE's Late Late Toy Show with Ryan Tubridy this year.

Ryan had earlier in the day been quoted as saying that this year's focus for the show would be on Christmas presents for kids below the €70 price level and he certainly delivered on that promise. Many of the exciting gifts were indeed within a more affordable price range and among them were some of pressieport.ie favourites.

The classic Ladybird collection made an appearance on the show with our Ladybird Activity Kits for children. Pressieport.ie offers a choice of 3 of these kits from the age-old range.
